We cordially invite you to take part in the first edition of the Simulation Competition “Junior SUM WARS”. Only 3-person teams of medical students of the Medical University of Silesia, studying in the first or second year, can take part in the competition.
The competition will consist of competition based on testing practical skills (exercises on simulators) in providing first aid according to the ERC 2021 guidelines. The material applicable to the competition can be found in the guidelines on the website prc.krakow.pl in chapters IV, VIII and X (only the point Basic resuscitation procedures in children). Additionally, participants should know how to open the airway with supraglottic methods.
The competition will be held on January 23, 2025 at the Education and Medical Simulation Centre in Katowice-Ligota, ul. Medyków 8b.
The start time of the competition will be announced in due time.

The form will be active from November 12 to 22, 2024. You must download, print, fill out and sign the necessary documents. The signed documents must be delivered in person to the CDiSM secretariat between November 25 and December 5, 2024, by registering for the competition.
Just filling out the online form does not give you the opportunity to take part in the competition, you must make an entry.
Any person who is a member of the team can deliver the signed and completed documents.
In justified cases, if it is not possible to travel to CDiSM, you can register for the competition by phone at 32 208 88 83.
On December 6, 2024, a list of accepted teams will be published on the CDiSM website.
The number of teams that can participate in the competition is limited. The order of applications will be decisive. Teams that do not register will not take part in the competition, freeing up space for the next team on the list.
