At the Education and Medical Simulation Center, we conduct first aid training covering resuscitation, AED operation, and discussion of other important issues in this field. The training is intended for employees of the Medical University of Silesia.
Medical simulation teaching training
At the Education and Medical Simulation Centerr, we organize training in teaching using the medical simulation method. It is intended for academic teachers of the Silesian Medical University who want to become familiar with modern teaching methods. During the training, the theoretical foundations of the simulation method and equipment that can be used during didactic classes are discussed. The participant will gain knowledge about the functions and capabilities of advanced patient simulators, will become familiar with the principles of preparing a prebriefing, creating a simulation scenario and how to summarize classes by conducting a debriefing session. In addition, training participants have the opportunity to become familiar with low-fidelity trainers, which are available at the Simulation Center.
