On January 23, 2025, the Junior Sum Wars 2025 competition took place at CDiSM. It was the first edition of the competition. 14 three-person teams of medical students from our University took part in the competition. The participants had to complete 3 first aid tasks. The first task involved providing first aid to an adult who had suffered a cardiac arrest in a shopping mall. The second task involved providing help to an infant and calming down a nervous parent. The third task consisted of two parts: a theoretical part, in which it was necessary to recognize devices for clearing the airway, and a practical part, in which it was necessary to demonstrate the technique of positioning in a safe position.
The first place was taken by the “Druga pomoc” team consisting of Anna Heliasz, Bruno Kaczmarczyk, Piotr Lis.
The second place was taken by the “3 chlorki” team consisting of Krzysztof Broda, Oliwia Biernat, Emilia Chmielowska.
The podium is closed by the “Red Alert Team” consisting of Lidia Korczyńska, Karina Kozłowska, Nadzieja Krawiec.
